Dear Parents,
We recognize that juggling your busy schedules while nurturing your child's education can be a challenge. However, your involvement in shaping their learning environment is invaluable. That's why we invite you to join the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) – a dynamic community dedicated to fostering growth and connection within our school.
We understand that time is precious, but rest assured, there's room for everyone, even the most time-constrained parents. We carefully plan our meetings and events in advance, accommodating the majority's schedules while respecting everyone's commitments. Your participation is welcomed, but there's no pressure to attend every event.
Joining the PTO offers a multitude of benefits. Here's why you should consider becoming a member:
Stay Informed: Gain valuable insights into school activities, policies, and upcoming events, ensuring you're well-informed about your child's education journey.
Influence Decision-Making: Have a voice in critical decisions affecting your child's education, such as curriculum enhancements and school policies.
Foster Community Spirit: Immerse yourself in enjoyable events like family nights, fundraisers, and school celebrations, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie within our school community.
Volunteering/Professional Development Opportunities: Enhance your skills and stay updated on educational trends by attending workshops. Additionally, contribute to the school community by volunteering at events or assisting in the classroom.
Joining the PTO isn't just a commitment; it's an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on your child's educational journey. Together, we can create a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive.
We also have open positions within the PTO:
President: Lead PTO meetings, represent the PTO, and manage official records.
Vice President: Oversee PTO committees and chair meetings in the absence of the President.
Recording Secretary: Record and share minutes for Board and PTO meetings, create meeting agendas, and maintain PTO historical records.
Assistant Treasurer: Handle revenue collection, expense payments, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
If you would like to participate in the PTO please complete this form so we can add you to our contact list. We are looking forward to new families and teachers joining us. https://forms.gle/9ksQ9zoTTnUPPGDf8
